ONE THING Reader feedback
Jul 29, 2024I just had to share what a reader sent me a few days after I sent the ONE THING post (if you missed that one, click here to see what they are referring to).
“I've been happily experimenting with One Thing. Early in my day, I choose and do the One Thing. Then, throughout the day, I find myself willingly performing more of the tasks on my self-care daily list. Instead of berating myself for not coming through, or feeling resentful about my long list, I pat myself on the back for each "bonus" I cross off the list after the One Thing. Thanks for pointing me in this direction.”
I love this! Such a great example of so many of the principles of energy medicine.
-
Simplicity: the habit change from a long list of daily self-care to-dos to doing just ONE THING was pretty simple.
-
Ripple effect: by making that one simple change, the reader’s relationship with the rest of the list changes. Not because they tried to make the change. It just happened.
-
Little is big: small shifts can result in big changes.
-
Contraction vs expansion: before this, it seems the reader felt burdened by the chores of self-care, which creates contraction in the energy field. Now they are getting multiple daily pats on the back, and you can “hear” the energetic difference even in the written words.
Do not underestimate the power of one thing.
